We started with adopting 5 "Malenadu Gidda" cows, some of which were on their way to slaughter houses. The number has since increased to 10 with couple of more adoptions during the course of 2007. "Durga" a bag of bones when adopted, has not only recovered well but has calved. We have 6 "Malenadu Gidda", 3 "Hallikar" and 1 crossbreed.
