Based on the usage and application, we decided to have different mechanisms for storage of water.

Drinking water (Home)- A 500lts tank is used for drinking water purposes which is connected directly to mainline pipe system. This tank is constructed on a platform which is higher than the taps in the bathroom and kitchen and hence providing water supply for the home.

Drinking water (Cows) - A 1000 lts tank made of cement and bricks has been constructed inside the cowshed to serve the purpose of watering the cows. Full tank can easily serve for 3-4 days.
